Round-Up (TBD): #9 Houston Squash rocketing to the top! w/Jahanzeb Khan

Guys, here’s episode #9 of the Weekly round-up, catching you up on the headlines, results & rankings from the Professional and College squash game.   
Covered this week:
We welcome Jahanzeb Khan, a special guest who wears many hats, including club owner, coach to amazing junior players and top PSA talent, and PSA promoter for major events in Houston.
We discuss the historic British Junior Open, which is significant because Bill is talking about Junior Squash. Two major stories involved the United States team's commanding performance, with 15 players advancing to the Quarterfinals and even winning two of the ten Championships.
And Team Pakistan was causing quite a stir online, with finger pointing and disappointment being shared all around.
We then discuss the Men's PSA Houston Open, with Asal, who is vying for the number one spot, which could be decided at this event.
This January and February will be jam-packed with action as the PSA Tour swings through the United States and the College Squash season heats up as the countdown to the National Championships begins.

One quick headline, the British Open moves to Birmingham in the UK we talk about why that move came to be. 
Then we dissect the World Team ChampsWe read out the finals standings of the 17 Teams playing this event.
We talk about the path of Team USA to get to a ‘historic first’ of a World Team Finals.
We share our observations of the epic, five game battle at the #1 position.
Finally, we breakdown the Championship presentation.  This is well deserving of its own segment!
We want to congratulate the U.S. Women’s National Team!  You make us all proud for your; dedication, hard work, grit, perseverance on Winning the Silver medal.  This year’s Team was made up of Amanda Sobhy, Olivia Fiechter, Sabrina Sobhy & Olivia Blatchford Clyne.  But in addition to congratulating the players, we want to also thank, their families, significant others, friends, Coaches, fans, support Team, their sponsors and US Squash, who make their sacrifice possible to help chase their dreams.

But the bulk of the show is talking about the Women’s World Team Championship with Women’s Team USA seeded #2. It’s a BIG deal.  If seeds play out, USA will face Egypt in the Finals and it would be a rematch from the Junior’s 10 yrs ago.
